Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Rumour mills can lay to rest as Rajan Shahi has squashed the conjecture surrounding problems with Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod. The producer had earlier stated in an interview that a few actors gave a 'hard time' to the production team during their stint with the show.

Fans assumed that Rajan Shahi was talking about Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod as the duo had just left the show after the makers took a generation leap. Rajan Shahi has finally opened up about the speculations floating on the internet in his recent interview.

Putting an end to the baseless speculations about Harshad and Pranali, Rajan clarified that people misinterpreted things as Chopda is a guarded person. He refuted the rumours about the Tere Liye actor leaving the show on a sour note. While his fans know that Harshad is a thorough professional, a few section of social media users spread rumours about the TV hunk.

"Harshad ke saath meri uss din bhi baat hui phone pe. Harshad ek closed aadmi hai, vo jyada bolta nahi hai, isliye log miscontruct karte hain. Aur mere log jyada interview nhi lete, isliye unhe pata nhi chalta reason kya hai. Aisa kuch nahi tha major aur aisa koi problem bhi nahi hai. Harshad is a very professional actor. Main kabhi jhooth nahi bolunga," Rajan Shahi told Saas Bahu Aur Saazish.

"Meri unit janti hai kitna vo professional actor hai, kitna dedicated hai, Pranali for that matter also. Jo nahi the, unke naam bhi main leta hu. Yeh Rishta ke phele do actors jinke naam main nhi leta hu. Sometimes there are creative differences but I think fans ne bahut bada bana diya. Harshad is so friendly when he shoots here. He, Jay and Pranali were such a great unit.

WHAT RAJAN SHAHI TOLD HARSHAD CHOPDA ABOUT YRKKH LEAP?

Shahi, who also produces Anupamaa and Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, revealed that he had informed Harshad Chopda about the leap two months before it was introduced.

"Harshad ko leap ke baare mein pata tha. Jab hum leap karne wale the, maine 2 mahine phele usko bataya tha. Ek din bhi ladke ne pareshan nahi kiya. Maine apni team ko hamesha bola hai. He is a brilliant person and human being and I am very fond of him," he said.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai now features Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami as new leads. The show airs daily on Star Plus at 9:30pm.
