In 2021, Rajan Shahi ushered in the third generation, with Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod taking on the lead roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara. Since their introduction, this dynamic duo has been captivating fans. In January of this year, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai celebrated its 14th anniversary, and it remains one of the highest-rated shows on television to this day. As per the ongoing buzz, the makers of the long-running family drama are planning for another generation leap.

While there's still no official confirmation regarding the same, Harshad and Pranali's well-known co-star Ami Trivedi aka Manjiri revealed her favourite love story between AbhiRa (Abhimanyu & Akshara), Kaira (Kartik & Naira), and Naksh (Naitik & Akshara) in a recent interview. As expected, she stayed loyal to her own generation and stated that AbhiRa's story has been her favourite.

Sharing the same with Bollywood Life, Ami stated, "I was following Akshara and Naitik's story. My mother-in-law and everyone were ardent viewers and I used to be back from shoot by the time Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins. So, I have followed Akshara and Naitik's story to an extent. I have enjoyed that story a lot. There was a lot of 'apnapan' and a family value vibe. It was a very sweet and 'satvik' story."

She added, "I couldn't continue watching Kartik and Naira's story as that time I was busy with a lot of other things. But I have seen the popularity of #KaiRa. And ofcourse, I am definitely biased towards my generation story. My generation is the best. #AbhiRa is the best and they rule for me. It is very passionate love story. It is a today's time love story and hence people can connect with it."
