Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Update: Produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions, Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been entertaining fans since its premiere in 2009 and completed 14 years earlier this year. Currently focusing on the third generation, YRKKH features Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in the lead roles of Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively.

The long-running family drama has always fetched great numbers for the channel and has been among the list of highest-rated daily soaps. To make the show more interesting and entertaining, the creative team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai often introduces new twists. Recently, Jay Soni aka Abhinav's untimely demise in the show left everyone shocked.

KARISHMA SAWANT ON DIP IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI TRPs

While the current storyline hints at the reunion of Akshara and Abhimanyu, shipped by fans as AbhiRA, the ratings of Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod starrer show have witnessed a major dip in the TRP ratings in the past two weeks. In a recent interview, their co-star Karishma Sawant aka Aarohi opened up about the same.

In an interview with Bollywood Life, Karishma talked about the low TRPs of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and said, "I don't try to crack my head on the TRPs. I don't much see which show is doing better and which is not. I don't want to be the critic. I just know everyone on the sets are doing their best. TRPs keep going up and down. We will keep doing our best."

So far, Harshad, Pranali, and Rajan Shahi are yet to share their opinion on the same.

ANOTHER GENERATION LEAP IN YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI?

In other news, there are rumours about YRKKH taking another generation leap in the coming November post which Harshad and Pranali are likely to bid adieu to the hugely popular show. However, there's still no clarity on it yet.
