Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Twist: Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Rajan Shahi, has been entertaining fans since 2009. Currently featuring Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod as Abhimanyu and Akshara respectively, the 14-year-old family drama is still fetching great numbers for the channel.

YRKKH recently witnessed the untimely demise of Jay Soni's much-loved character Abhinav which changed Akshara and Abhir's lives. While they are trying to cope with the loss, Abhimanyu is by their side and is turning out to be a support system for them leaving Muskan irked.

Amid all this, the makers introduced another twist during the Janmashtami celebrations when another major accident took place in AbhiRa's lives. Manjiri's health has suffered significantly in the aftermath of her traumatic experience of being trapped in a room consumed by fire. As reported earlier, Abhir and Manjiri faced a life-threatening situation when a room caught fire. Since their rescue, Manjiri's condition has worsened, resulting in her hospitalization.

As Abhimanyu is tensed about Manjiri's deteriorating health, there were speculations about Manjiri's character dying as there are reports about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai taking a generation leap very soon. While the makers are yet to react to the leap reports, Ami Trivedi, who essays Manjiri in the superhit show, has finally opened up about the discussion around her exit.

AMI TRIVEDI ON RUMOURS OF MANIRI'S ROLE ENDING IN YRKKH

In a recent interview, Ami cleared that her character is not dying in YRKKH and she's not going anywhere. In fact, the talented actress is enjoying portraying the different shades of Manjiri. Tes, you read that right!

Talking to ETimes, she stated, "I am shooting and no, my track isn't getting over. I enjoy playing Manjiri and this is the best phase of my life. Manjiri's character has portrayed many shades from being positive to being extremely hurt and then turning a bit grey because she is possessive about her son. My character was a bit negative when she saw Akshara (Pranali Rathod) getting married to Abhinav in the show. But, these things happen in daily soaps, so it's fine. I and happy that I have had some interesting scenes in the show."

Well, the news will surely come as a relief to her fans.
