According to Shruti, she has a 'decade-long' friendship with her estranged husband Nikhil.

On Monday (July 31), Shruti Rawat took to social media to announce her separation from her hubby. She issued a statement to inform her fans that she took the hard decision after much thought and consideration. The Kya Haal Mr. Panchali actress said that her decade-long friendship with her partner will continue to stay the same despite their split.

"After much deliberation and thought, Nikhil and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship for almost a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us," she said in a statement.

The Badi Door Se Aaaye Hain actress requested her well-wishers to support us and give them privacy. She thanked them for the support as she shared an emotional note on her Instagram note.

"We request our well-wishers to support us during this time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support," she added. The actress has restricted the comments section of her Instagram post.

On the professional front, Shruti Rawatt was last seen in Anandibaa Aur Emil, which starred Kavya actor Mishkat Varma in a lead role. The show aired at an early evening slot on Star Plus.
