After Junooniyatt, Gautam Vig To Play LEAD In Star Bharat's Supernatural Thriller, To Romance Bhumika Gurung?

Star Bharat new show: Gautam Vig, who was last seen in Ankit Gupta and Neha Rana starrer Junooniyatt, is expected to make his TV comeback with an upcoming show. Filmibeat has been sharing regular updates about a new supernatural thriller that will star Bhumika Gurung. The small screen diva, known for her role in Nimki Mukhiya, has been approached for the show.

Filmibeat earlier reported that the Nimki Mukhiya fame actress is in talks with the makers to play a different role in the thriller that will beam on Star Bharat. An industry source exclusively told us, "Star Bharat is revamping the programming with the launch of new shows after IPL 2024. The channel is all set to entertain the audience by taking them on a roller coaster ride filled with emotions, drama, romance."

The Khabri added, "Gautam Vig has been approached to play the male lead in the show. Considering his popularity and acting chops, the makers believe that he will do justice to the role. The two sides are yet to sign the dotted lines for the project."

Gautam Vig has featured in shows like Tantra, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 and Junooniyatt. He shot to fame after participating in Bigg Boss 16. His closeness with Soundarya Sharma became the talk of the town. After he got eliminated from Salman Khan's show, Colors channel and Ravi Dubey-Sargun Mehta offered him Junooniyatt.

Junooniyatt also featured Ankit Gupta, Gautam's Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant in a lead role. The two played enemies in the romantic drama that went off air last year in November. After Junooniyatt ended, Gautam was immediately offered Udaariyaan, which aired on the same network.
