Ankit Gupta New Show On Star Plus Gets Its Title: Maati Se Bandhi Dor

Ankit Gupta Star Plus show: Popular TV actor Ankit Gupta is all set to entertain the audience with a brand new show. The small screen heartthrob, who shot to fame after playing the role of Fateh in Udaariyaan, created ripples with his sizzling chemistry with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. He is now gearing up to make his comeback to the TV screens with Star Plus' new drama.

ANKIT GUPTA IN KHATRON KE KHILADI 14?

There were rumours that the Udaariyaan actor might be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. A source close earlier exclusively told Filmibeat, "The casting for Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14 has started and the channel is keen to have Ankit Gupta on board for the show. They are also in talks with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary for the show but things will depend on how the two sides take forward the discussion. The makers are excited to have Ankit in the show as they are aware about his popularity. If things go as planned, PriyAnkit might participate in KKK 14 and lock horns as participants."

ANKIT GUPTA NEW SHOW NAME ON STAR PLUS

According to a report in TellyExpress, Star Plus has changed the title of Ankit Gupta's new show. It was initially titled Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. The daily soap has received a new name as it will be called Maati Se Bandhi Dor. The show will be based on Bengali drama Sandhya Tara and will focus on the story of a village girl. Interestingly, Imlie and Jhanak are already showcasing the story of village belles.

Ankit Gupta will be paired opposite Rutuja Bagwe in the upcoming show. Earlier, Fahmaan Khan was approached for the show but he chose Krishna Mohini on Colors channel.

Maati Se Bandhi Dor is expected to premiere in June 2024 after the culmination of Indian Premiere League 2024. It will take a prime time slot on Star Plus after IPL 2024 ends with a huge finale.

Ankit Gupta was last seen in Junooniyatt, which went off air in November 2023. He will be next seen in a music video with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.
