Last night (December 21), the news of Alisha Parveen quitting Anupamaa went viral on social media, However, the actress soon took to her Instagram stories and revealed that she hadn't quit but the makers fired her overnight without any explanation. Yes, you read that right!

She wrote, "Hello everyone, I didn't quit Anupamaa. But, I don't know the reason exactly why this happened, everything was good but I don't know why this suddenly happened. It was shocking for me too but thankyou so much for loving Raahi/Aadhya. I'm so grateful to being a part of this show. I worked so hard for the character but I don't know what just happened. Just thankyou everyone who loved me! I will miss this show from depth of my heart!"

WHO WILL REPLACE ALISHA PARVEEN AS RAAHI IN ANUPAMAA?

Well, this is indeed sad as Alisha was doing a good job in Anupamaa. However, everyone is wondering why she was asked to leave and who is going to replace her as Raahi in the show. While the makers are yet to reveal the reason behind her exit, there are reports that Imlie 3 and Kundali Bhagya fame Adrija Roy is likely to play the new Raahi. However, an official confirmation is still awaited.
