Stating that he's sad as a fan, the good-looking actor said, "Sad as a fan, but I mean there are a lot of aspects. (I'm) hoping he's coming up with something much much better."

Plus I, as a true fan am waiting for him to be back on screen even if it's something new."

Talking about how Anupamaa's journey will progress as Gaurav confirms his exit, the TV star added, "I think it's going well as that is the nature of the story, each character has it's own time and space.The story has taken leap of few years so new dynamics have been introduced. I'm sure makers must have tried all the permutations and combinations to keep him in storyline."
