Anupamaa New Toshu Name: Produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions, Star Plus show Anupamaa has been winning hearts since its premiere in 2020. The show features Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna in the lead roles of Anupama and Anuj respectively alongside Sudhandhu Pandey, Sukirti Kandpal, Vaquar Shaikh, and Aurra Bhatnagar among others playing pivotal characters.

AASHISH MEHROTRA ANUPAMAA EXIT REASON

Aashish Mehrotra, who played the role of Paritosh Shah, aka Toshu, in Anupamaa for almost four years, revealed that he has quit the show. Taking to Instagram, the actor confirmed quitting the show after a stint of around four years.

Despite the disappointment of his fans at his departure from the popular Star Plus show, the talented TV star has allegedly said goodbye to Anupamaa to join Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Meanwhile, recent reports indicate that the makers of the Star Plus show have already found a replacement for the role of Toshu.

According to Gossips TV, the social media handle known for sharing updates related to popular TV celebrities and shows, Gaurav Sharma has been roped in to replace Aashish Mehrotra as Toshu in Anupamaa. Yes, you read that right!

WHO IS GAURAV SHARMA? ALL ABOUT THE NEW TOSHU OF ANUPAMAA

For those who are unaware, Gaurav Sharma is a well-known TV actor who has featured in several popular shows including Diya Aur Baat Hum, Total Nadaniyaan, and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak among others. The actor recently made headlines for essaying the negative role of Yuvraj in Samridhii Shukla's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

While the actor must be excited to play Toshu in Anupamaa, he has played a similar role in the Star Plus show Shaadi Mubarak . He played the role of Preeti's (Rajshree Thakur) son Tarun who used to mistreat and disrespect his mother.
