Gaurav Sharma On Returning To YRKKH: Rupali Ganguly's much popular show Anupamaa recently saw a major change in the cast after Aashish Mehrotra quit the family drama. Aashish, who played the role of Toshu in the show, was associated with Anupamaa for four years. Soon, it was reported that Aashish will be replaced by Gaurav Sharma. Yes! Gaurav, who was earlier seen playing the role of Yuvraj in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will be seen as Toshu in Anupamaa.

While Gaurav's fans are quite excited to see him in the new role, there have been speculations about him returning to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And now, Gaurav has cleared the air about the same and stated that he will not be going back to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai anytime soon. During his recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Gaurav stated, "Honestly, this was my first question to the makers when I was offered Toshu. I wanted to know the future of Yuvraj. As far as I know, an actor can't be a part of two shows simultaneously on the same channel".

For the uninitiated, Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are produced by Rajan Shahi who often shuffles the cast within his shows. Furthermore, Gaurav also stated that the condition in which he might return to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and emphasised, "I was told that Yuvraj is not required in the show anytime soon and whenever he needs to return to the show, makers would adjust my dates and would give a little break to Toshu from the show so that I could play Yuvraj in another show".

As of now, Gaurav is quite excited to be a part of Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa and gave a nod for it instantly. On the other hand, as Aashish has quit Anupamaa, there are reports about him participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.
