Anupamaa twist: In a major development, another TV star has bid adieu to Star Plus' top-rated show Anupamaa before the leap. The daily soap has remained in the headlines since the past few days, courtesy of the change in tracks and exit of multiple actors.

ACTORS WHO HAVE QUIT ANUPAMAA

It all started when Sudhanshu Pandey decided to quit Anupamaa, leaving everyone shocked. He surprised the audience when he announced his decision to leave the show after playing the role of Vanraj for 4 years.

Madala Sharma, who played Pandey's on-screen wife, has also bid adieu to the show. She was not satisfied with her character graph and hence, moved on. She played the role of Kavya in Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's show.

And now, another actress has confirmed her exit. We are talking about Kinjal aka Nidhi Shah.

WHY NIDHI SHAH (KINJAL) LEFT ANUPAMAA SERIAL?

Nidhi Shah penned a heartfelt post, informing her fans about her decision. "With a Heavy Heart, I Say Goodbye to Kinju baby aka Kinjal. After four and a half unforgettable years, it's time for me to bid farewell to my beloved character, Kinjal, and the phenomenal show, Anupamaa. This journey has been beyond anything I could have ever imagined. To be a part of a show that's been number one on Indian television, consecutively, is a blessing I'll cherish forever," her post read.

The actress expressed her gratitude to Rajan Shahi for offering her the character of Kinjal. She also thanked the audience for their constant love and support.

"I am immensely grateful to God and to Anupamaa's visionary creator, @rajan.shahi.543 , for trusting me with this role. My gratitude extends to my wonderful producer, co-actors, and the entire crew for their unwavering support and for making this journey so memorable. It's never easy to say goodbye, and with a heavy heart, I leave behind a piece of myself in Anupamaa. Most importantly, I want to thank you, my fans, who've loved and supported me unconditionally throughout this journey. Your love has been my strength, and I feel truly blessed to have had such incredible people rooting for me," she added.

"Though it's difficult to move on, I know this is just the beginning. Here's to new chapters and more beautiful journeys ahead. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart," Nidhi shared.

Paras Kalnwat, Aashish Mehrotra, Nishi Saxena dropped comments on the post. Aashish commented, "Indeed it was a beautiful journey ... loved doing scenes with you Kinju baby #jaltosh 😂❤️ .. wish you the best for future (sic)" while Paras wrote, "Hamari Kinjal."

Anupamaa will soon witness a leap following which the majority of the cast will be changed.
