The six-month leap in Anupamaa has introduced significant shifts in the storyline. The unexpected separations of Bapuji (Arvind Vaidya) and Baa (Alpana Buch), as well as Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupama (Rupali Ganguly), have left fans stunned.

For those unaware, Bapuji decided to stay with Anupama, while Baa chose to remain with Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). Vanraj is thriving with a successful business, while Anupama has found solace and purpose at Asha Bhavan, an NGO dedicated to helping the underprivileged.

Sonal Khilwani, known for her role as Shravani Thakur in Shravani, is set to join the cast. Yes, you read that right! Talking to Pinkvilla, the actress confirmed auditioning for Anupamaa. She stated, "While speaking to a leading media outlet, Sonal confirmed that she has auditioned for the show."

However, the portal revealed that the actress has already bagged the pivotal character in the much-awaited show. Well, let's wait for an official announcement then. Besides Shravani, Sonal was also seen in Bindiya Sarkar.
