Sudhanshu Pandey quits Anupamaa: In a massive development, Sudhanshu Pandey (Vanraj) has confirmed his exit from Anupamaa. The talented actor has quit the top-rated show co-starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna.

On Wednesday (August 28), Sudhanshu revealed that he is no longer a part of Anupamaa. He apologised to the audience for taking a sudden decision to bid adieu to the popular daily soap.

In his video, the Veera actor said, "Main pichle 4 saal se roj pahuch raha hun apke ghar ek daily soap ke jariye, ek kirdar play kar raha hu jiske liye mujhe bahut sara pyaar aur narazgi mili, lekin wo narazgi bhi ek tarike se pyaar hi raha hai. Agar aap naraz na hote mere character dekh kar to mujhe lagta main sahi tarike se nibha nahi pa raha hoon. (I have been coming to your house every day for the last 4 years through a daily soap, playing a character for which I got a lot of love and resentment, but that resentment is also love in a way. If you are not angry, after seeing my character, I feel that I am not playing it in the right way.)

Sudhanshu Pandey hosted a live interactive session on Instagram to confirm his departure from Anupamaa. He expressed his gratitude towards the audience for their love and support. The actor played the role of Vanraj (Rupali Ganguly's on-screen husband) in Anupamaa for four years. He received rave reviews for his impressive performance as the manipulative and shrewd Vanraj in Rajan Shahi's show.

Gossip mills suggested that a leap is on the cards in Anupamaa. A source close to the show earlier told Filmibeat, "Anupamaa will witness a new track when the makers introduce another leap. We have heard that Shivam Khajuria has been approached for a meaty role in Anupamaa serial as the creative team has planned a massive twist. Contrary to the rumours, he is not playing the lead role in Rajan Shahi's next show. Star Plus has put a few shows, including Rajan's upcoming daily soap, on hold. Shivam is expected to join Anupama."
