Parakh Madan, who entered Anupamaa as Diya, has confirmed that she is no longer a part of the show. The actress revealed that as the makers shifted the track to the USA, she was no longer needed in the show. However, Parakh confirmed that she would make a return if she is ever needed for a storyline.

"My track in Anupamaa has been left open-ended. Since Anupamaa is now in the US and another storyline has developed, my track is currently on hold," Parakh told ETimes.
