According to an India Forums report, in a bid to add an exciting twist to Anupama's life, the makers are bringing in a fresh character named Deepu, played by Vaquar Sheikh. Deepu's entry promises to infuse more drama into the show while establishing a meaningful connection with Anupamaa. However, an official announcement regarding the actor's entry in the hit show is still awaited from the makers' side.
