Replacements are quite common in the Indian television industry. Actors often quit their hit shows in search of greener pastures. Something similar happened when Aashish Mehrotra decided to bid adieu to Anupamaa after playing the role of Toshu in the serial for close to four years.

He made an exit as he wanted to experiment with different roles. After his stint in the Star Plus show ended, Aashish bagged Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He has already jetted off to Romania for the shoot of the stunt-based reality show.

The makers replaced Aashish with Gaurav Sharma, who earlier worked with the production house in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The talented actor, in a recent interaction with a portal, opened up about his character and called him 'spineless'. What the audiences have been saying for years now, Gaurav said the same in his bold interview.
