Jio Cinema Takes Legal Action Againt Armaan Malik & Kritika Malik's Viral Intimate Video

Jio Cinema has reportedly filed a complaint in Cyber Crime unit. The streaming platform has requested an investigation against the matter. According to TOI's reports Jio Cinema is requesting for an identification of the person behind the doctored video. ETimes TV exclusively obtained the complaint copy filed by Jio Cinema.

Before taking the legal action, Jio Cinema released a statement on social media. It wrote, "JioCinema adheres to strict programming standards and guidelines to ensure quality and appropriateness of any content that streams on our platform." It added, "Bigg Boss OTT which was streamed on JioCinema did not have any such content." The streaming platform further cleared, "The video clip in circulation is doctored to include obscenity and is fake. We are committed to protecting the integrity of JioCinema and the trust out viewers place in us."
