Things took a turn when Bigg Boss announced a special twist. He gave the housemates two options if they wished to secure ration for the entire household- either send two contestants to jail or directly evict one contestant in a mid-week eviction.

Avinash Mishra locked horns with Karan Veer Mehra and Arfeen Khan following which there was a massive fight inside the BB 18 house. The Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor slammed the other contestants for not taking a stand when required. Things got heated when Chum Darang abused Avinash and called him 'sala'. In a major development, the housemates decided to evict him from the reality show.

The official Instagram handle of Colors TV shared a promo to inform the fans about the development. The caption for the post read, "Jiski gharwaalon ke saath hui fight, uss Avinash ko ghar se bahaar nikaalna aapko laga right?"

Fans have been wondering if Avinash Mishra got eliminated from Bigg Boss 18 in a mid-week eviction. However, they should not worry as the TV star is still a part of the show. He has been reportedly sent to the Bigg Boss 18 jail.

Bigg Boss Tak shared a post to confirm that Mishra has been sent to jail following his fight in Salman Khan's show.

"Avinash Mishra is not EVICTED from the house. Bigg Boss has kept him inside the Jail and he has the power to distribute Ration to the house (sic)," the post read.
