Baghin Cast: Mridula Oberoi Reveals Initially Rejecting Aneri Vajani's Show - EXCLUSIVE

Baghin Cast: Kumkum Bhagya actress Mridula Oberoi revealed she rejected the offer of her TV show Baghin, it was later she agreed to join the cast of the show featuring Zeeshan Khan and Aneri Vajani in lead roles.

She said, "When for the first time this show came to me I was little sceptical about it and I just said no to it. Then the makers approached me again. I agreed to attend the meeting and in no time I said Yes for it. As I just loved the narration of my character. Now I'm feeling fortunate that the show happened to me."

Mridula is widely recognized for her roles in television series such as 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Naagin 6', 'Bhagya Laxmi', 'Appnapan', 'Yeh Hai Chahatein', and more. She also acted in Bollywood movies like 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo', 'Love Aaj Kal 2' and will be seen playing the role of Sudarshana Rai Chowdhary in this show.

Introducing her role she continued, "I am playing a character of Sudarshana. This role is new to me as for the first time I'm playing a women who is in love and my audience will see me as a part of the love story. Earlier I mostly played an antagonist in Saas-Bahu saga. I'm just loving the way my character as a mother, wife, lover, a mother in law and a sister in law has been designed and portrayed. It has so many layers to it that an actor always look forward to play.. from being emotional to a very self-centred, opinionated woman who's extremely in love."

'Baghin' is a series based on the battle between man vs beast. According to reports, the character portrayed by Aneri Vajani will reportedly be inhabited by the spirit of a Baghin, which is a tigress. It airs on Star Bharat.
