TRP Report Week 2024: Anupamaa, Mangal Lakshmi, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin In Top 10 Hindi Shows List

TRP of Hindi serials: The BARC TRP ratings for the week 22 of 2024 have been finally released. This week has witnessed quite a few changes in the ranking of your TV shows. It was expected that the ratings of channels would increase post the culmination of the Indian Premiere League 2024; however, things don't look hunky-dory for several shows.

WHY TRP OF TV SHOWS DIDN'T INCREASE AFTER IPL 2024?

A reliable industry source told Filmibeat, "Star Plus shows were expected to gain the maximum viewership after IPL 2024 finale. This year, the viewers have not returned back to GEC following the culmination of the cash-rich cricket league. It will take some time for the TV viewers to return completely to their daily soaps. The channels need to be patient enough and not take any drastic decision as they are already facing competition from OTT."

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus had the maximum daily soaps in the list of top ten shows. Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Jhanak and Udne Ki Aasha featured in the list.

Colors TV had three shows as Mangal Lakshmi, Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyaag Tandav and Mera Balam Thanedaar performed well to secure spots. Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya made it to the list.

No shows from Sony Entertainment Television could find a position in the list of top 10 shows in India.

MAATI SE BANDHI DOR FIRST WEEK TRP

Ankit Gupta starrer Maati Se Bandhi Dor opened with an average TRP of 1.2 in the first week. Suhagaan Chudail scored a rating of 0.7 while Udne Ki Aasha and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Mahasangam episode got a TRP of 2.3.
