TRP Report: Bigg Boss 17 Beats Taarak Mehta, Shrimad Ramayan Rises, Anupamaa Leads Top 10 Shows List

TRP of Hindi serials: The BARC TRP ratings for week 3 of 2024 have been finally released. This week didn't bring much cheers for channels like Zee and Colors TV; however, Sony TV witnessed a minor jump, courtesy of Shrimad Ramayan. Bigg Boss 17 continued to perform well.

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus is on a roll as it had the maximum number of shows in the list of top-rated dramas in week 3. Guess what? Eight daily soaps from the channel featured in the list. Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Imlie, Jhanak, Pandya Store, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si and Teri Meri Dooriyaann secured spots as they performed well.

None of the fiction shows from Colors channel featured in the list; however, Bigg Boss jumped to the number fifth spot in the current week, courtesy of the drama in the show.

Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah bagged the number ninth position in the coveted list.

SHRIMAD RAMAYAN TRP

Sony Entertainment Television's newest launch Shrimad Ramayan has won the hearts of the audience. The mythological show starring Sujay Reu, Prachi Bansal, Nikitin Dheer, Nirbhay Wadhwa has fetched a TRP of 1. The numbers are impressive considering the competition at the 9pm and the reach of the channel in the interior pockets.

Considering the buzz and promotions, we won't be surprised if the TRPs touch the 1.5-mark soon.

BIGG BOSS 17 TRP

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss season 17 is the number one non-fiction show across all the channels. While Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Indian Idol 14, Dance Plus 7 have struggled to gain decent numbers, BB 17 is leading the TRP charts in the non-fiction space.

While the show got an average TRP of 1.9 on weekdays, it registered a TRP of 2.2 on weekends.
