TRP Report Week 8: Anupamaa Drops, Ghum Hai Beats Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Top 10 Shows List

TRP of Hindi serials: It's a new Thursday and time for the TRP Report of the week. Guess what? Several shows have witnessed a drop in their numbers in the current week. Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin saw a decrease in their ratings in week 8.

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus is still the market leader when it comes to having the maximum shows in the list of top ten daily soaps and reality shows. The leading GEC has managed to keep the audience engaged with its drama-packed episodes in different serials across prime time.

Guess what? Star Plus is the slot leader from 7 to 11:30pm across all the channels. Shows like Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Imlie, Pandya Store, Jhanak, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si and Teri Meri Dooriyaann have fetched amazing ratings. Despite the drop in numbers of a few shows, the channel is still placed at the number one show.

No show from Colors channel secured a spot in the list. However, the Viacom 18-owned GEC bagged the second position beating Sony SAB. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah from Sony SAB fetched decent TRP in the current week.

While Sony Entertainment Television had no show in the coveted list, Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya found a spot in the list of top Hindi serials in India.

The BARC TRP ratings for week 8 have been finally released and we have a clear leader- Anupamaa. Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer has managed to capture the attention of the netizens. Despite witnessing a drop in numbers, the daily soap is still the numero uno show across all the channels.

Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starrer Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin secured the second position, pushing Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to the third spot.

While GHKPM and YRKKH are performing, it Jhanak that is taking away the cake. After all, Hiba Nawab starrer is working wonders at 10:30pm slot and garnering a TRP of over 2 at late night slot.
