Bigg Boss 17 Winner: Not Munawar Faruqui But THIS Contestant Earned Highest Amount Despite Losing The Trophy

Bigg Boss 17 witnessed a phenomenal journey for over three months and has got its winner in Munawar Faruqui. It was a tough competition between the top 5 finalists - Munawar, Ankita Lokhande, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra and Arun Mashettey. And while Munawar and Abhishek emerged as the top 2 finalists of Bigg Boss 17, Munawar lifted the trophy after receiving the maximum votes during live voting which happened during the grand finale.

It was reported that Munawar took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs along with a brand new car. This isn't all. Munawar also made an earning of Rs 1.2 crores for his stint in Bigg Boss 17. Yes! You read it right. It was reported that Munawar charged a whopping amount of Rs 8 lakhs per week, his total fees turned out to be Rs 1.2 crores and after including the cash prize, the total happens to be Rs 1.7 crores.

While everyone has been congratulating Munawar, there is finalist whose fees is more than Munawar's total earnings from Bigg Boss 17. We are talking about Ankita Lokhande. The actress had emerged as the third runner up on the show. And she might not have won the trophy but she did take home a whopping amount. For the uninitiated, Ankita charged Rs 12 lakhs per week for her show (approximately Rs 1.71 lakhs per day) and her total earning happens to be Rs 1.8 crores and it is clearly more than what Munawar earned as a winner.

Meanwhile, as Munawar Faruqui was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 17 winner, Abhishek Kumar emerged as the first runner up of the show. On the other hand hand, Mannara Chopra was announced as the second runner up of the popular reality show.
