The authority to nominate contestants is bestowed upon the current captain Aoora, along with ex-captains Isha Malviya and Munawar Faruqui. Each of them is granted the privilege to nominate one contestant.

According to the latest promos, Aoora, Isha, and Munawar nominate Abhishek, Ayesha, and Anurag, respectively. Subsequently, Bigg Boss invites them into the activity room and declares that one of the three nominated contestants will be evicted from the Bigg Boss house, leaving their fate to be determined by the remaining contestants. Yes, you read that correctly!

So far, Anurag, Ayesha, and Abhishek are the nominated contestants this week and one among them is likely to bid adieu to the controversial reality show in tonight's (January 1) episode. However, let's wait if one of them will exit Bigg Boss 17 right away or if the makers will introduce another twist in the task.
