Adding a new twist in BB 17 nomination, the makers organised a 'torture task' to determine the name of the nominated contestants. Bigg Boss clearly said it- 'The housemates have to perform as a team and conquer the task. Aaj nominations dono teams ka khel hoga. Jab tak buzzer daba rahega, tab tak aanke nomination me surakshit hone ke chances bane rahege. Aak konsi team nomination ke pinjre mein kaid ho jati hai, ye dekhne ka waqt ab agaya hai."

The task, which is dreaded by every contestant, was conducted in Bigg Boss season 17. As Munawar Faruqui said, team B assumed Mannara Chopra to be an easy target and hence, Isha Malviya and Ayesha Khan targeted her in the task.

From applying red chili powder paste to throwing water on her face, they tried their best to make Mannara leave the buzzer, so that they could save themselves from nomination. "Inko laga Mannara easy target hai but vo sabse strong hai," Munawar said to motivate Chopra.

Ayesha Khan continued to ask her to quit the task as she wanted to win and safeguard herself from nomination. Mannara responded by saying, "Main kabhi apne dosti rishtey nahi chodti." She was later seen crying as she was getting tortured during the task.
