Munawar Faruqui Instagram live: Bigg Boss 17 ended with a blockbuster grand finale on January 28, 2024 on Colors channel. Fans have not been able to control their excitement ever since Munawar was announced as the winner of the reality show.

The comedian defeated Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande to win Bigg Boss season 17. He took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, a swanky new car and a shiny trophy. The makers added a big twist in the finale as they opened live voting on JioCinema for the top two finalists.

Filmibeat had already revealed the details about the same before the start of the finale. The channel and the production house allowed the viewers to vote for top two finalists Abhishek Kumar and Munawar Faruqui for ten minutes. Munna, as fondly called by fans, defeated Abhishek to claim victory and take the winner's trophy.

A source had earlier told us, "The makers have left no stone unturned to make the show popular. They want to end things on a grand note. From special performances to guest appearances, the grand finale event will be a spectacular affair. Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Isha Malviya, Samarth Jurel and other evicted contestants will grace the finale. Expect a special performance from Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra."

"There will be a massive twist in the grand finale as the channel will introduce voting for BB 17 top 2 finalists. It will be a battle between Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Kumar for the final two spots. The celebrities who advanced to the last stage will have to garner the highest votes from the audience in the live voting," the khabri quipped.

Munawar Faruqui had a roller coaster journey filled with drama, emotions and fights inside the BB 17 house. From locking horns with Vicky Jain-Anurag Dobhal to forming a bond with Mannara Chopra and later facing issues in their friendship, he grabbed eyeballs due to different reasons. Things turned ugly when Ayesha Khan entered the BB 17 house and accused him of 'two-timing' her and Nazila Sitaishi.

Ayesha dragged his personal life in the show, alleging that he expressed his love for her before coming to the show. After her wildcard entry, the Lock Up winner confirmed his breakup with Nazila on national television.

Munawar garnered over 340k people on his first Instagram live after winning Bigg Boss 17. Bigg Boss OTT 2 first runner-up Abhishek Malhan had more people on his Instagram live after the show ended, Khabri pointed out on social media.
