Well, I'm not talking about Diwali or Dussehra, I'm talking about the new season of Bigg Boss which is no less than a festival for reality show fans. Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 18 premiere is just a few days away now and everyone is excitedly waiting for it.

For those who are not aware, Bigg Boss 17 turned out to be a decent success with Munawar Faruqui walking away with the winner's trophy beating Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Ankita Lokhande among others. Since then, fans have been waiting for its next season.

Now that Bigg Boss 18 is slated to begin in early-October, reports state that the makers have approached many big celebrities including Nia Sharma, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shanti Priya, Rithvik Dhanjani, Shehzada Dhami, and Avinash Mishra among others.

While the official lineup of contestants is yet to be revealed, the latest update suggest that one of Samridhii Shukla's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star has rejected the offer to get locked inside the BB 18 house.

Well, we're talking about MTV Roadies and Splitsvilla fame Rishabh Jaiswal who is currently seen essaying the role of Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) cousin-brother Krish in the top-rated Star Plus show. Yes, you read that right!

WHY RISHABH JAISWAL REJECTED BIGG BOSS 18 OFFER?

According to speculations, Rishabh Jaiswal was offered Bigg Boss 18 along with a hefty pay. However, he skipped the show as the young lad wishes to currently focus on his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Revealing the same, a source informed ETimes. "It's unfortunate he couldn't take up Bigg Boss this time too. Fans would have loved to see how he handles himself in real-life situations."

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.

BIGG BOSS 18 STARTING DATE AND TIME SLOT

Bigg Boss 18 is confirmed to premiere on Colors TV on October 6 (Sunday) at 9 pm.
