Bigg Boss 18 First Confirmed Contestant: Salman Khan is all set to return as the host for the highly anticipated 18th season of India's most popular reality show, Bigg Boss. The promos for Bigg Boss 18 have already started airing on Colors TV, and fans are counting down the days until its premiere, which is now just around the corner.

Bigg Boss 17 concluded with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner, outshining fellow contestants Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Ankita Lokhande to claim the top spot. While the season had a decent reception, excitement has been steadily growing for the upcoming season.

BIGG BOSS 18 FIRST CONFIRMED CONTESTANT NAME ANNOUNCED

Slated to premiere next week, Bigg Boss 18 is expected to feature an impressive lineup of contestants. Reports indicate that the show's producers have approached a host of well-known celebrities, including Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shanti Priya, Rithvik Dhanjani, Shehzada Dhami, and Avinash Mishra.

Amid all this, the makers finally announced the name of the first confirmed contestant a week before the much-hyped premiere. Last night (September 29), Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 ended with Karanveer Mehra lifting the winner's trophy.

During the finale, host Rohit Shetty revealed the name of Bigg Boss 18 first contestant and she's none other than Nia Sharma. Yes, you read that right!

For those who missed the KKK 18 finale, Nia made an appearance on the show with her Laughter Chefs co-stars Bharti Singh and Kashmera Shah. Soon after, Shetty announced that she's going to be a part of Salman Khan's show. Well, the stunner is known for her bold personality and we're excited to watch her on Bigg Boss 18.

The new season of Bigg Boss is all set to premiere on Colors TV on October 6 (Sunday) at pm. The much-awaited reality show will also stream on Jio Cinema.
