The show, which is all set to get premiered at 9 pm on October 6, is now making headlines for the rumoured contestant list. Meanwhile, one of the rumoured and potential contestant, Nia Sharma, is reportedly to be not part of the show. Nia herself confirmed the same taking this to her Instagram account. And naturally, fans are furious after knowing the same, they bashed the makers for wrongfully using Nia's name.

After weeks of speculations, Nia Sharma puts an end to it with her Instagram post, on Sunday, Nia wrote after she announced that she won't be a part of the reality show. The actress wrote, "To the fans And well-wishers I have disappointed, sorry. Truly been overwhelmed by the tremendous support, love, and crazy hype! almost made me want to go inside the house for once made me realize what I've earned in the last 14 years. Can't say I didn't enjoy the hype and attention but please don't blame me. It wasn't me."

The post was shared by a paparazzi account later, where people bashed the makers for using her name for the hype. One wrote, "Sab nautanki thi, show ko hype Dene ke liye," another wrote, "Why Bigg Bosss u just used Nia's name for Hype." Another user commented, "Without Nia BB 18 will be incomplete."

It was during the Khatron Ke Khiladi Finale 14 that it was announced that Nia Sharma is the confirmed contestant of this year's Bigg Boss. However, later it was confirmed by DNA India that it was a 'gimmick'.
