According to media reports, Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant will be participating in Bigg Boss Marathi 5. In fact, the makers have even released a promo of Abhijeet from the grand premiere wherein he was seen singing a popular song. As the promo has been going viral, netizens were quick to judge that it was Abhijeet Sawant.

Who Is Abhijeet Sawant?

Abhijeet became a household name after he won the first season of Indian Idol. He then became the first runner up of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star and secured the third position in Asian Idol. He made his Bollywood singing debut with the 2005 release Aashiq Banaya Aapne wherein he sang the song Mar Jaawan Mit Jaawan. He also made his acting debut with the 2009 release Lottery and also made a special appearance in Tees Maar Khan. To note, Abhijeet is married to Shilpa Sawant since 2007 and has two daughters Sameera and Aahaana.

According to a report published in Koimoi, Abhijeet Sawant charges around Rs 6-8 lakhs per performance and has a net worth of Rs 6-8 crores.
