After dropping hints about the new host, JioCinema confirmed that Anil Kapoor would replace Salman Khan. Bollywood's Bhaijaan won't be hosting the third season of Bigg Boss OTT due to his professional commitments.

"Salman Khan is occupied with his professional commitments and he couldn't host the show. Who better than Anil Kapoor to don the hat of a host for a show like Bigg Boss? He fits the bill perfectly and the production house is hopeful that he will strike a chord with the audience," a reliable industry source told Filmibeat.

Anil Kapoor is reportedly taking Rs 2 crore as fees per episode for hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3. The show will premiere on June 21 at 9pm on JioCinema. The official Instagram handle of JioCinema released a video to make the announcement.
