Gossip mills have suggested that Anil Kapoor will replace Salman Khan as the host for the new season. A source close to the show said, "JioCinema will officially announce the name of Bigg Boss OTT 3 host at the right time. Anil Kapoor's name is expected to be revealed in a special teaser promo for BB OTT 3. While Salman Khan is not hosting the new season, Mr. Kapoor seems to be the right fit for the host."

Mr. Kapoor is said to be charging a remuneration that is 1/6th of Salman Khan's fees per episode.
