Bigg Boss OTT 3 First Contestant: The wait is finally over, JioCinema has officially announced the launch of one of its biggest properties- Bigg Boss OTT. While Bigg Boss is a hit on television, the digital version turned out to be a blockbuster show for the leading streaming platform.

BIGG BOSS OTT 3 FIRST PROMO, LAUNCH DATE

On Wednesday (May 22), the official Instagram handle of JioCinema released a new promo to confirm that the show will return with a fresh season. Squashing the rumours, the streaming platform confirmed that Bigg Boss OTT 3 will premiere in June 2024.

Although the launch date of Bigg Boss OTT season 3 has not been confirmed, the show will be available for streaming JioCinema Premium at a nominal price from next month. JioCinema shared the promo along with the caption, Bigg Boss OTT ka naya season dekh kar sab bhool jaaoge."

The teaser offered the viewers a sneak peek into India's biggest digital reality show. The makers have highlighted the ugly fights and viral moments from previous seasons in the promo.

WHO IS THE FIRST CONTESTANT OF BIGG BOSS OTT 3?

Several names have been floating as probable contestants for Bigg Boss OTT season three. Gossip mills have claimed that Shehzada Dhami has been confirmed as the first participant of the show. While Salman Khan has backed out of the show, Anil Kapoor is expected to take his place in the hit show.

Amid speculations over the new BB OTT 3 host, there are rumors that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Shehzada has been approached for the show. "Yes, Shehzada has been given an offer. However, he is yet to accept the same. If he accepts the offer, the Choti Sarrdaarni actor will become the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss OTT 3."

Shehzada remained in the headlines after Rajan Shahi terminated his contract, accusing him of unprofessionalism. The Anupamaa producer alleged that Dhami threw tantrums on the sets of Yeh Rishta and misbehaved with the crew.

"Recent events have prompted Directors Kut Production to take a firm stance against unprofessional behavior displayed by two actors from the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Shehzada Dhami, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. Shehzada Dhami's disregard for work ethics became evident from day one, as he consistently threw tantrums and mistreated the crew," Rajan said in his official statement as quoted as saying by BollywoodLife.
