CID 2 First Episode Launch Date, Timings: The wait is finally over. Sony Entertainment Television has officially announced the premiere date and time slot of CID season 2. The much-awaited second season of CID will hit the airwaves from next month. Yes, you read that right!

CID 2 will air its first episode on December 21, 2024 at 10pm slot. The show is back on its original slot of 10pm. Unlike the previous season, the show won't telecast on Fridays but weekends.

The official Instagram handle of the channel released a promo to announce the time slot and launch date of CID season 2. The caption for the post read, Apraadhi chahe kitne bhi darwaze band kar lein, Daya se nahi bachenge! Dekhiye #CID 21st December se, Sat-Sun raat 10 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par."

The programing team has planned a grand launch for the new season, giving it the weekend slot of 10pm. The show will be competing with Anupamaa, Bigg Boss 18 on rival channels. The leading GEC is confident that CID 2 will bring back the lost viewership on weekends. The creative team has created buzz with the mind-boggling promo and the new storyline will definitely strike a chord with the audience."
