CID 2 full cast: It's like a dream come true for the ardent viewers of CID to witness the epic trio of ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet solve crime once again. Considering the popular demand and dipping TRPs of the channel, Sony Entertainment Television decided to bring back CID with a new season and a fresh star cast.

While our favourite OGs have been retained, new actors have joined the cast in CID season 2. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava are the soul and heart of the show as they have been an integral part of CID since its inception.

INDIAN IDOL 15 TIMINGS CHANGE DUE TO CID 2 LAUNCH

"Sony TV is launching CID 2 at 10pm slot on weekends and hence, it decided to shift the timing of Indian Idol to 8:30pm. The change is in effect from December 21," our khabri earlier said.

Indian Idol season 15 has been pushed to an earlier slot to make way for CID season 2. The gamble seems to have worked as the numbers have increased for both the shows in the second last week of December 2024. The ratings will be revealed next week.

A source exclusively told Filmibeat, "CID is expected to be crown jewel of Sony Entertainment Television as it is expected to give the much-needed push to the channel during the weekends. The GEC has retained the original 10pm slot of the show to ensure that the viewers don't miss a single thing. After the disastrous 2024 the channel had, it is heavily banking upon CID to increase its viewership and share in the competitive Hindi GEC market."
