Deepika Singh Rushed To Hospital: Mangal Lakshmi's Deepika Singh has been making headlines after the actress was rushed to hospital during the shooting of the serial. A series of pictures of Deepika went viral lately where the actress could be seen sitting with an eye injury.

A series of pictures of Deepika Singh went viral where she could be seen sitting wearing a lavender saree apparently on the set of Mangal Lakshmi. In the pictures, the blood clot in her right eye could be spotted clearly.

Deepika Singh Talked About The Blood Clot In Her Eyes

According to a report by Hindustan Times, it was her co-star who noticed that something happened to her eyes after she talked about her eyes getting irritated. "Within half an hour, I rushed for a doctor consultation and was put on medication -ointments and eye drops- immediately," said Deepika to HT.

She further shared that the doctors told her it will take 5 days to get completely healed. "I have been advised not to strain my eyes and specifically not to use glycerine or any other eye product," she adds. "I have a lot of crying scenes and as an actor, your eyes are your biggest asset to convey emotions. The clot is in my right eye, so we are making sure to take most of my shots from the left profile in this unavoidable situation. It's hampering the shoot, but the show must go on," she says.

She concluded by saying, "I am keeping my eyes closed whenever I am not in front of the camera. I am giving more affirmation to my eyes, and it has been a real 'eye-opener' for me."
