Deewani Fame Nitin Goswami: Traveling Never Inspired Me Much

Deewani Fame Nitin Goswami

Actor Nitin Goswami, who is currently seen in Dangal TV's Deewani, is not much of a traveler. In fact, he loves to travel when it's only for work.

He said, "Travelling has never really been a big part of my life or lifestyle. Seriously, traveling never inspired me much. I didn't enjoy going here and there or traveling a lot. Yes, if it is for my work, for my shoots, you could take me anywhere, and I'd be happy. But without work, I don't want to go anywhere. I thought like this for a long time, so I never traveled just for fun throughout the year."

Though he never wished to travel earlier, now that he is on holiday, he wants to explore new places and experience new things. He said, "Now, on holidays, I feel like I should go somewhere. As an actor, when you're working and your schedule is hectic, you feel like you need holidays, a break, and some free time. But, for me, I never wished for it."

Traveling wasn't an addiction for him, but whenever he took a break and traveled, he felt something different. He added, "It feels like you are living a different life apart from your regular life. Whether it's another country, state, or any open place with a lot of noise, every place has its own unique feeling."

He needs a companion when traveling. He says that he always needs someone, be it family or friends. He said, "I've never traveled alone; I've never even gone to watch a movie alone."

Any memorable travel experiences? "It would have been about a year and a half to two years ago when I started trekking. That was the best experience of my life. I trekked around Lonavala to many famous trekking spots, like Kalavantin Durg, which is considered very dangerous, and Prabalgad, among others. I don't remember all the names, but those were the experiences I had," he said.

"I walked up the mountains for 3-4 hours and down for 3-4 hours. The peace I felt inside and the feeling of reaching the top of the mountain and seeing the entire world from up there, with the wind touching your face, is a unique experience. I went trekking in the rain, in the heat, and in the scorching sun. Once, it rained so heavily on the mountains that I had to return. I was trekking to Prabalgad, and I had to come back because of the rain. That experience was very good for me; it gave peace to my mind and was good for my body. The closer you get to nature, the different the feeling is," he added.

Nitin would like to visit Assam and other northeastern places, as well as Kolkata, and when it comes to international destinations, he wants to visit Switzerland. "I've seen photos, and it looks very beautiful. I'd like to see such places at least once, so that's my next plan whenever possible," he said.
