Filmibeat earlier revealed that the makers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin are bringing a new show for Star Plus. The production house approached several known names for their upcoming project. From Harshad Chopda to Mohsin Khan, prominent celebrities reportedly received the offer.

We even informed our readers about Kritika Singh Yadav and Vijayendra Kumeria getting finalised for the show titled Deewaniyat. While Kritika is known for her role opposite Fahmaan Khan in DharamPatnii, Vijayendra was recently seen in Teri Meri Doriyaann, which was produced by the same production house.

DEEWANIYAT CAST: WHO IS PLAYING LEAD IN STAR PLUS SHOW?

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Navneet Malik will be joining the show Deewaniyatt as the parallel lead. While the channel and the production house have remained tight-lipped about the development, gossip mills suggest that the former Star Plus lead has bagged his next project. He will be seen paired opposite Kritika Singh Yadav in the initial episodes of the upcoming daily soap.

Navneet will play Kritika's love interest, creating further tension and drama. After the story progresses, he is expected to portray a grey shade, changing the track of his character. Deewaniyat will be launched after the completion of Star Parivaar Awards 2024. The promo is expected to be released next month on Star Plus.
