Delnaaz Irani: Feel Truly Blessed To Have Wonderful Fans All Around The World

Global recognition and love from every corner of the world, that is what actress Delnaaz Irani says is the best part of her profession. She says that she has been blessed to have witnessed so much love coming her way.

"I feel truly blessed to have such wonderful fans all around the world. I remember there was this sweet teenage girl from Delhi, and another fan from Scotland. She used to reach out through Instagram, messaging my team to get in touch with me. She was so head-over-heels about my work!" she says.

She adds, "I'm lucky to have a global fan following, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I haven't had any extreme or "crazy" fan encounters-most have been incredibly sweet, sending thoughtful gifts, blessings, and heartfelt messages."

Sharing some of the best gestures that her fans have done for her, she says, "There's one fan, whose name I'll keep private, who has been especially kind. She sends me gifts every year on my birthday and whenever I start a new project. Every time, she includes a bouquet of flowers and a lovely card with her best wishes and blessings. Her words are so full of admiration and support, and they truly warm my heart. Over the years, she's been consistent in showing her love through social media and sending these thoughtful gestures. I've come to know her as a very devoted fan, and it's truly special to have someone who genuinely appreciates my work."

The actress says that the way fans interact with celebrities has also changed over the years. "There was a time when people would ask for autographs, and then came a time when they wanted photographs. Now, it's all about the selfie trend, which I think is really cool. With smartphones, fans can capture a moment with their favourite stars so easily. Back then, people would actually wait in long lines just to get an autograph or a photo. They'd take out their cameras, wait for the celebrity to get ready, and it was a whole process. But now, with selfies, you just grab your phone, take a quick shot, and it's done. I think it reflects today's culture, especially with Gen Z and the younger crowd who are always on their smartphones-honestly, we all are! It's a fun, quick, and easy way to connect with fans, and I think it's really cool to take a selfie with a celebrity," she says.
