Durga Full Cast, Real Name Of Actors: Pranali Rathod, Aashay Mishra Play Leads In Colors TV Show

Durga full cast: The wait is finally over. Colors channel has finally released the first episode of its much-awaited show Durga- Atoot Prem Kahani. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the show ever since the makers unveiled the first promo. The daily soap marks the return of Pranali Rathod to the small screen following her stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Pranali Rathod, who was last seen as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is playing the role of Durga in the serial. The TV diva is essaying the titular role in the daily soap that is set against the backdrop of Rajasthan.

Ahead of the launch of the show, the Barrister Babu star opened up about her role in Durga. She said that her character will be able to strike a chord with the audience.

"It is special to me because Durga is a force to be reckoned with, named after the fierce goddess we all look up to. The character of Durga is that of a vigorous Kabile girl whose emotions and struggles, every lady or girl would resonate with. It takes a lot to topple the generations of discrimination and centuries of social divide. She refuses to let any of that define her worth. Her battle is for her identity, her place in a world determined to hold her back," Pranali said in a statement as released by Colors TV and quoted as saying by Indian Television.com.

Joining Pranali as the male lead is Aashay Mishra, who will be seen as Anurag. He is playing the love interest of Rathod in the highly-anticipated show.

Durga serial will also feature Karam Veer, Rishi Kaushik, Sachin Verma, Digvijay Purohit, Jaya Binju, Heera Mishra, Akshaan Sherawat, Jassjeet, Krishna Soni, Aditi Asija, and Soumendra Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.

Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra's Durga has received a good response from the audience upon its premiere on Colors channel. The show raked in an average TRP of 1.5 in its first week as it replaced Parineetii at 7:40pm slot.
