Durga Promo: How Harshad Chopda REACTED To Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Co-star Pranali Rathod's New Show?

Durga Promo: It's difficult to keep calm as Pranali Rathod is all set to make a return to the small screen with a new show titled Durga. The TV diva, who won hearts with her performance as Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Harshad Chopda, will be seen in the titular role in the upcoming daily soap.

DURGA LAUNCH DATE, CAST

The makers of Jhanak are bringing a new show for Colors channel. They have completed the first schedule of the shoot in Jodhpur.

"The production house is making their grand debut on Colors TV with the new show tentatively titled Durga. Pranali Rathod was the perfect fit for the show as she aced the audition and look test. The makers are confident that the show will strike a chord with the audience just like their previous show Jhanak on Star Plus," a source told us.

While Pranali Rathod is playing the role of Durga, Aashay Mishra will be seen as Anurag. They will be supported by Indira Krishnan in an important role. The show will air its first episode on September 16 at 7:40pm slot.

HARSHAD CHOPDA REACTS TO PRANALI RATHOD'S NEW SHOW

The official Instagram handle of Colors TV released a promo and captioned the post as, Barso se chali aa rahi reet ko sapno se todne, aa rahi hai Durga apni kismat badalne. Dekhiye #Durga 16th September se, shaam 7:40 baje sirf #colorstv aur @officialjiocinema par (sic)."

Several actors including Ayesha Singh and Harshad Chopda dropped comments on the post. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Ayesha Singh wrote, "Congratulations @aashaymishraa and @pranalirathodofficial You guys look beautiful. Rock it (sic)."

While the fans flooded the comments section with their messages, Harshad's comment stole all the limelight. Harshad Chopda turned cheerleader for his Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star, giving her a shoutout.

The Bepannaah actor commented, "Finally and it's worth all the wait. Way to go. Yeyeyeyeeeee (sic)." His comment went viral on the Internet in no time.

Durga will replace Parineetii at 7:40pm slot from next month.
