Exclusive: Maati Se Bandhi Dor actor Shaan Mishra believes that it's not that difficult to maintain success in the industry if one is hardworking and passionate. He said, "Maintaining success in the TV industry isn't really difficult if you consistently produce quality work."

"We've seen numerous iconic TV serials in the past, such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, and Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Excelling in a single show can make you a household name. The key is to sustain your success and carry your legacy forward. While you won't always get the same story or character, it's important to approach every role with full dedication," he added.

He further said that if you're a talented actor, performer, and artist, audiences will appreciate you in various stories and roles if you consistently deliver great performances. He added, "Your popularity doesn't diminish; it all comes down to choosing quality projects and compelling stories where you can truly shine."

Shaan also pointed out that TV now has a variety of characters that are quite essential to keep the show running and also leave an impact on the audience.

"Now, a negative lead or a second lead with an amazing storyline can shine just as brightly. While the lead role is still crucial since the story revolves around them, a variety of characters are essential to keep the story moving forward. Teamwork is key, and every character plays an important role," he said.

But he doesn't agree that screen time decreases as you grow in the industry. He said, "Screen time isn't necessarily reduced. If you're a popular hero, audiences will tune in to watch you, driving up TRP ratings. As you advance in the industry, you might juggle other projects like ads, web series, or films while still working in TV. It's all about time management, and if you're a favorite actor, you'll still get ample screen time."

One character from TV that you would love to play, and why? "Many iconic characters have graced our television screens, leaving lasting impressions on audiences. Characters like Mihir from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Mr. Bajaj from Kasautii Zindagii Kay"are perfect examples of this. Additionally, the character played by Sushant Singh Rajput in Pavitra Rishta stands out as another memorable role. These roles have not only been widely acclaimed but have also made a significant impact on me personally.
