Anupamaa: The show, starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna, which recently underwent a 5-year leap, is set to undergo another significant change. The makers released a promo a few days ago showing Anupamaa running an old age home, while Anuj has become mentally unstable. Fans are intrigued about the new story. In an exclusive conversation with FilmiBeat, Vaquar Shaikh, who plays the character of Yashdeep in the TV show Anupamaa, reveals significant details about the new story.

When asked how much he is aware of the new story, Vaquar said, "Honestly speaking, actors and directors are informed about the changes in the story at the very last moment. I remember when Rupali and Gaurav were shooting for the promo, I asked my director and creative team about what is happening. They said that as of now, they don't know anything. I got to know that there will be a leap of 3 or 5 months. Post leap, its only Anu and Anuj's life which will change dramatically. I don't think even Rupali and Gaurav, who were the only two actors who shot the promo, were fully aware of how their characters' lives will be changed post leap. The dynamics between the Shah family or the relationships between them will more or less remain the same, that's what as of now I am aware of.''

There's also a huge buzz that after the leap, Yashdeep, Beeji, and the entire staff of Spice N Chutney will exit the show. When asked if he too will be leaving the show once the new story starts, Vaquar said, "Honestly speaking, as of now, I don't have any clue. I will be shooting for the show in a few days. But I am unaware of what will happen post leap. Yashdeep may not be seen in the show for a few months and then may be brought back. Even if the makers decide to end Yashdeep's journey, I won't have any complaints. The character initially was just introduced as a cameo for three months, but now it's been more than six months into Yashdeep's journey. People have loved him, and I have gained so much from the show as well."

Ardent fans of Anupamaa are not very happy with the promo, as they were expecting a reunion between Anuj and Anupama. Instead, the makers have decided to once again separate Anuj and Anupama.
