EXCLUSIVE - Savdhaan India Fame Amit Antil On Akshaya Tritiya: Enjoy Every Festival Doing Charity & Donation

Actor Amit Antil talks about celebrating the festival of Akshaya Tritiya with family in his hometown Deepalpur Village in Sonipat district, Haryana.

One of the major festivals of Hindus, Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day for new beginnings. People also buy new jewellery of gold and silver. Also known as Akha Teej, the special day is celebrated on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha. This year, Akshaya Tritiya is being celebrated today i.e., May 10, 2024.

He said, "This day is considered a sacred day to perform various spiritual activities such as meditation, yog, mantra chanting, as it will give you a sense of calmness in life. I make sure to start my day doing meditation and offering my prayers to the almighty for making my life beautiful and peaceful. We decorate our temple area and perform Puja to seek blessings from Lord Vishnu, Goddess Laxmi, Lord Ganesha and Lord Kuber and offering them sweets. It will bring prosperity, wealth and money in life."

The actor who previously acted in 'Akhada' and has recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming Bollywood movies 'Zufash' and 'Mujahid' urge to spread happiness doing charity and Donation.

He continued, "I feel whatever we have is given to us by the God himself. And this need to be shared for welfare and development. So one needs to enjoy every festival doing charity and Donation. On this auspicious day, I make sure to donate clothes, food, water, to the needy people. Good deeds will give a sense of satisfaction and not only that but I'm sure it will get their reward in future."

Talking ahead about his celebration. He mentioned about visiting a temple with family. He shared, "To celebrate the day, in the evening we also visited temple, it make us feel blessed, calm and relaxed. I personally feel this day is full of positivity and when people will visit temple and offer prayers to God on this special day, then they would feel positive and attract positive energies."

Amit entered showbiz by making his debut on the reality show India's Got Talent. Following this, he went on to appear in various shows such as 'Savdhaan India: India Fights Back', 'Kalash... Ek Vishwaas', and more.
