Veteran actress Shruti Panwar recently opened up about her long-standing association with acclaimed television producer Rajan Shahi. In an emotional recount, she took a walk down memory lane to share how their professional and personal camaraderie has evolved over the years.

Shruti first met Rajan Shahi in 1997 during the making of Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, a TV series directed by Ravi Rai. At the time, Rajan was assisting Ravi Rai, while Shruti played a pivotal role in the series. Describing Rajan, Shruti said, "Passionate, enthusiastic, inquisitive, very friendly, and efficient. That's how I remember him from our first project together."

Years later, Shruti was called to work in Rajan's first independent directorial venture, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. Reflecting on the experience, she said, "His story was always the hero and the heroine of the series. His passion for storytelling was evident even back then."

Despite a gap of years where the two only crossed paths at events and parties, Shruti now feels privileged to collaborate with Rajan once again under his production banner. Known for creating successful and long-running shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), Rajan has become a force to reckon with in the television industry.

"Rajan is now the King of TV, a brilliant producer who understands the pulse of the audience. What makes him unique is his ability to keep his team motivated and happy, which reflects in their work," Shruti shared. She also praised the loyalty and dedication of Rajan's crew, noting that many of his technicians have been working with him for over 18 years.

Shruti highlighted the monumental success of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which has been reigning on television for 16 years, as a testament to Rajan's vision and leadership. "I feel so fortunate to work for Rajan again. He is truly a king, not just by name but in the way he leads his empire.
