For those who are unaware, Shivam Khajuria earlier essayed the lead role of Nihar in Mann Sundar from 2021 until 2023 alongside Shruti Anand aka Ruchita. As the actor was seen again in a recent episode, fans have been wondering if the actor is returning to the show after bidding adieu to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

In an exclusive chat with Filmibeat, he finally cleared the speculations and revealed that it was just a special appearance as Mann Sundar recently crossed the 1000-episode mark. Yes, you read that right!

Talking about the same, Shivam Khajuria stated, "People are messaging me and asking if I am coming back on Mann Sundar. No, that's not true. It was just, I was a part of Mann Sundar which has recently completed 1000 episodes. So to celebrate it and have played a pivotal role in this achievement, I agreed to feature in one scene of the 1000th episode."

On being asked about his reunion with the team, he added, "Experience was amazing as I met my team again after around a year. I felt nostalgic as we all were reminiscing those days, how we used to shoot and all. It's a huge achievement completing 1000 episodes and consistently being on top of the channel's trp charts. I wish the team a lot more success."

There have been reports about Shivam bagging the lead role in Rajan Shahi's upcoming Star Plus show. Also, there were rumours about his entry in Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa as the love interest of grown-up Aadhya after the leap. However, there's been no clarity on his next TV show yet.
