Friendship Day 2024: Preeti Vipin Choudhary, who is seen as Kajal Bansal in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which is produced under his banner, Director's Kut Productions, says we don't get to choose our family, but we get to choose our friends.

Speaking on the occasion of International Friendship Day, which will be observed on August 4, she said, "Good friends are the most precious treasure that one can possess. True friends are intangible, and the best part is that we cannot choose our relatives; we choose our friends ourselves. Friendship is a bond that helps us step outside our comfort zone and share our deepest secrets."

She has a lot of good friends, but her best friends are her husband Vipin Choudhary, her son Kabeer Choudhary, and Aayushi Thakare. And her friends on the show are, "Shruti Ulfat and Shruti Rawat. It feels like home on the set with such beautiful friends."

As for the qualities she looks for in her friends, she said, "I just want my friends to be honest with me." She further shared that whenever she is free, she makes a video call to them or makes an impromptu plan to meet them.
