SACH KAHU TOH: It Was Bad Idea To Introduce Leap In Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Shakti Arora Deserved Better

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin leap: Indian television industry loves to create hype for a show by introducing unnecessary leap and mindless twists. Even when there is no need to take a leap, the producers don't hesitate to change the storyline by introducing a time jump.
LEAP IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN IS A BAD IDEA
When the rumours about Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin leap surfaced on the internet, producer Rajesh Ram Singh denied the buzz. He refuted the conjecture about Shakti Arora's replacement and stated that the actor is an indispensable part of GHKPM. Mind you, he was lying about the same as the makers faced fan backlash on social media.
After Sai (Ayesha Singh) and Virat's (Neil Bhatt) death angle, the fans were hopeful of a proper conclusion to Savi (Bhavika Sharma) and Ishaan's (Shakti Arora) love story. However, they were disappointed when Ishaan's character was bumped off from the serial. Was it a good idea to introduce a seven-year leap when Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin was doing perfectly? No, it was not. In fact, I will call a 'disastrous decision'.
Why take a leap when the show is gaining eyeballs and there's a lot to explore? A report in Times Of India stated that the creative team believe 'there was nothing left to explore in IshVi's story'. Seriously?
The makers didn't utilise Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora's chemistry to its full potential. Imagine the tracks that could have been centred around IshVi. Their reunion, love angle and how they tackled the enemies together.
Everything about IshVi's reunion seemed rushed and forced. Marriage, separation, death- the makers added every ingredient to spice up the ratings. It did work for the finale episode of season two but the TRPs dropped in the second week after Hitesh Bharadwaj's exit.
SHAKTI ARORA DESERVED WAY BETTER IN GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN
Content is called the king but it seems Indian TV has a different take on it. The quality of content is deteriorating and this is something to worry about. The same content is being dished out across multiple channels. One husband two wives, kitchen politics- the same track is being repeated in different shows.
Coming to Shakti Arora, man oh man, he deserved better. After taking over the charge from Neil Bhatt, he aced the role of Ishaan with perfection. The Sisila actor and Bhavika Sharma wooed the audience with their charming chemistry.
While Bhavika Sharma was retained following the leap, Shakti's character was written off. The actor took responsibility of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin when the show was transitioning to a new track. He along with other team members didn't let the TRPs fall. He deserved better as he anchored the ship when it needed to reach the shore without hiccups.
