The show often garners attention for various reasons and is now making headlines due to a much-publicized leap.

Recently, Karanvir Bohra joined the cast as Inspector Bhavar Patil, while Manasi Salvi, aka Isha, returned to the show after a few months' hiatus. Amid the ongoing wedding track of Ishaan and Savi, the makers are set to revamp the hit drama with a 10-year leap.

Bhavika Sharma will continue her role as Savi in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, while Hitesh Bharadwaj joins the cast as the new hero opposite her. As previously reported, Shakti Arora (Ishaan) and the entire Bhosale family will soon meet their end in the hit show. Amidst these developments, Karanvir, who plays Bhanwar, has also confirmed his exit. Yes, you read that right!

In a recent interview, he cleared that his character was needed for a month and is coming to an end now.

Confirming the same, Karanvir told National Reporter, "Bohot saalon baad ek aisa kirdaar play karne ko mila hai mujhe, jo ki mujhe itna maza aaya. Dukh iss baat ka hai ki ye show (current generation) khatam ho raha hai aur character bhi. But, mera hamesha manna hai, you never know kyunki TV mei kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Because ye character itna popular hua hai within a month's time. You never know if he comes back."

The talented actor opened up about his bonding with co-stars and stated, "I'm going to miss working on the set. I'm gonna miss working with her (Bhavika Sharma), with Shakti (Arora), with Raosaheb (Nimal Bali). Unke saath meri tuning bohot sahi bani. You know, these guys are lot of fun. Harini tai (Ankita Khare) bhi, wo toh meri Marathi teacher thi. Ye sabhi mil kar, jab bhi mai Marathi mei bolta tha toh hasti rehti thi."

He concluded, "Mujhe isi baat ka dukh ho raha hai ki ye character sirf ek mahine ka tha. Warna agar lamba chalta, ye Viraj ki tarah iconic ban jata. Ye Baazigar mei, jo Shah Rukh Khan sirf hai, unki tarah iconic ban jata because this was going that way."
